We’re working on a new funding and governance model for https://open-vsx.org/ that will be more sustainable in the long term. The basic structure will be an Eclipse Foundation working group, with an option to sponsor only and not participate in the governance and management of the deployment.

The Eclipse Cloud Developer Tools contributor award for this month goes to Marc Nuri at Red Hat for his continuing leadership of JKube, and more specifically for the new JKube Remote Development feature.

Eclipse Cloud DevTools Working Group is announcing Contributor of the Year Award for 2022. The voting will take place between now and the start of EclipseCon. We'll announce the winner at Cloud DevTools Community Meetup on Monday, October 24. Candidates will be the 10 winners since EclipseCon 2021.
