Tuesday, June 4, 2024 - 03:33 by Juan Rico

On the 23rd of June in Songshan Lake, where the Huawei Developer Conference will take place, Oniro in cooperation with OpenHarmony is organising a workshop to present the opportunities created by the unique approach the cooperation between the two initiatives has taken.

In an era where global collaboration is key to technological advancement, the pioneering cooperation between the European Eclipse Foundation and the OpenAtom Foundation stands as a testament to what can be achieved when two powerhouses join forces. This partnership is redefining the landscape of smart device interoperability and open source innovation, marking a significant milestone in the tech industry.

The ambitious projects in this collaboration are designed to serve as a universal technological baseline for device manufacturers. They aim to eliminate technological silos, enable interoperability, support modularity, while enhancing privacy.

During the “Think Global, Code Local” workshop, Oniro and OpenHarmony communities gather to present the status, plans and opportunities the cooperation between the two initiatives are creating. Diverse industry experts and representatives of the Foundations and projects will share their insights about the real cases in which this technology has been used and the results and benefits generated from their implementation.

This groundbreaking collaboration not only highlights the importance of global partnerships in driving technological innovation but also sets a precedent for future cooperative efforts.
