Each year we recognize some of the leading individuals, projects and products in the Eclipse community with the Eclipse Community Awards. A lot of people spend a lot of time and effort supporting the Eclipse community so the Awards are a great opportunity to recognize these contributions. I know from past experiences, the winners and nominees really appreciate the recognition.
The first step is for people to nominate people, projects and products for an award. It doesn’t take a lot of time to nominate someone and they will truly appreciate the recognition.
The different award categories are Top Committer, Top Newcomer Evangelist, Most Innovative New Project/Feature, Most Open Project, Best Application, Best Developer Tool, Best Developer Plugin and Best Modeling Tool. Please feel free to nominate your own project or product. Nominations close January 24, 2013.
Winners will be announced at EclipseCon 2013 in Boston on March 25.
