I get a lot of offers to speak at various events throughout the world. Far more than I can attend myself. For those events that I am unable to attend, I try to find somebody (preferably from the local area) to attend in my place. I have a pretty good list of folks already, but there are holes in my geographical coverage that need some filling.
If you are interested/able to present Eclipse Topics at events such as user groups, let me know (wayne at eclipse.org) what geographical area you’re able to cover (along with any restrictions/concerns you have). Don’t post your information as a comment to this post.
I have a pretty good stack of presentations that you can use/manipulate.
Ideally, at some point in the future, I’d like to set up a service on eclipse.org where presenters can register and event coordinators can find presenters, but for now, I’ll just keep your information safely to myself and invite you to contact the event coordinator yourself.
For all you user group coordinators out there: if you need an Eclipse speaker, let me know.
