Working Groups, Specifications and More in the 2022 Community Newsletter

Monday, January 17, 2022 - 11:39 by Jacob Harris

The new year is underway and set to be another exciting one at the Eclipse Foundation. We’re ready to kick the year off with Working Groups to Watch in the January edition of the Eclipse Community Newsletter. This edition will preview some of the big projects working groups have planned for 2022 and set the stage for more valuable content from our community throughout the year.

This year, we’ll be covering various projects, specifications, working groups, and initiatives throughout the Eclipse Community. On top of our regular editions on Jakarta EE, IoT & Edge, and Cloud DevTools, we’ll be looking at some growing areas of the Eclipse Community and provide insights into new technologies.

Take a look at what we have planned for 2022:

January: WGs to Watch, February: IoT & Edge, March: Jakarta EE, April: Specifications, May: Cloud DevTools, June: Research@Eclipse, July: Eclipse IDE, August: Automotive & IoT, September: EclipseCon, October: Oniro, November: Jakarta EE, December: AI, Cloud & Edge

Share Your Feedback!

Last year, we debuted a new look for the Eclipse Community Newsletter page, making it easier to find each month’s new slate of articles. We’re always looking to improve the newsletter, so please let us know what topics you would like to see more of, and if there are any projects that you would like to see us spotlight.

Since this is our community newsletter, each month we introduce you to one of the commiters in the Eclipse Community with our committer profile series. If you are interested in being interviewed or know someone who would be a good candidate, let us know by contacting newsletter@eclipse.org.
