Welcome to issue number three hundred and fifty-six of Hashtag Jakarta EE!

This week, I am in Atlanta for IBM TechXchange and JCON USA. It is the second time with JCON co-located with TechXchange and I will have one talk on TechXchange and one talk at JCON. In addition to this, I will also host a mentoring session about Open Source and AI at the JCON Hub on the exchibition floor.

I will definitely go for a morning run or two during the week in Atlanta, so make sure you add yourself to the runWithJakartaEE group on Strava to see when and where, and I will try to remember to add the details there. Or search social media for #runWithJakartaEE.

Jakarta RESTful Web Services has (finally) produced a Milestone release. You can check out 5.0.0-M1 of the API. The actual specification document will be published as soon as the team has finished up the last polishing of their Pull Request. This is a significant milestone for Jakarta EE 12.
