Welcome to issue number two hundred and eighty-nine of Hashtag Jakarta EE!
July has usually been a fairly calm month when it comes to conferences for me, but the last two year this seems to have changes a bit. The two distinct “conference seasons” are spreading out throughout the year. Last week, I was in Berlin for WeAreDevelopers World Congress. Next week I am going to JConf Domincana in Santo Domingo at the Dominican Republic, where I will have one talk and help Alfonso Valdez with a workshop titled How to Use Jakarta EE 11 with Payara 7. Jakarta EE 12 hums along during the summer months. We keep up the weekly Jakarta EE platform calls for now, but may take a break when it becomes even quieter in August.
