Eclipse Day at the Googleplex – 2011 Edition

Thursday, September 22, 2011 - 13:53 by Anonymous (not verified)

I am pleased to announce we are having our fourth Eclipse Day at the Googleplex on November 30th.    Each year this event highlights some Eclipse projects and products being created by Google that are based on Eclipse.   This year we have sessions on the Android Development Tools, Google Plugin for Eclipse, WindowBuilder, EGit, m2eclipse, Eclipse 4, SWTBot, Orion, Hudson and Google’s use of  Xtext.  We also have a case study from NASA.   Another great line-up of speakers and sessions for you to enjoy.

We are also hosting another Eclipse Ignite session.  This is an opportunity for attendees to show-off what they have been doing with Eclipse.   Each speakers gets 5 minutes, 20 slides and the slides change automatically each 15 seconds.   It worked out very well last year so you are going to do it again.

Finally we will be having an Eclipse 10th Birthday Party, so there will be cake and refreshments for all.

It is free to attend the event but you need to pre-register.   Each year we have sold out, so if you want to attend I would register early.

Special thanks again to the Google Open Source program office for sponsoring this event.  It is great to have their continued support and they are wonderful people to work with on organizing the event.
