What started as a humble idea – to celebrate open collaboration, turned into a vibrant, electric tech event, full of creativity, energy, inspiring hallway conversations, new connections, and ideas that have already started shaping real projects. OCX 2024 was the community gathering of community gatherings, an epic family reunion for open source builders from around the world.

OCX 26 is our next chapter. This time we’re aiming even higher, with over 600 open source professionals expected to join, and 5+ colocated events.
The location? It’s bolder too: The EGG, right in the heart of Brussels, Belgium, a city known as a hub of innovation in Europe’s vibrant core. As its name suggests, it’s a place where new ideas are ready to hatch.
But our goal isn’t just about numbers.
