In our latest member case study, we’re sharing Cedalo’s story. Cedalo is an active member of the Eclipse IoT ecosystem and a great example of how businesses and entrepreneurs naturally discover one another and new opportunities to co-innovate in Eclipse Foundation communities.
Cedalo is deeply involved in the Eclipse Streamsheets and Eclipse Mosquitto projects. Just a few months after joining the Eclipse Foundation, Cedalo Co-Founder and CEO, Philipp Struss, was already making joint presentations with Eclipse ioFog project lead, Kilton Hopkins, to explain the benefits of cross-project collaboration in the edge native space. For an integration example, watch Gregory Ivo’s demo video of an inventory management solution that uses Mosquitto, Streamsheets, and ioFog.
Struss says Cedalo’s Eclipse Foundation membership is essential to build these kinds of connections and relationships with other companies. And he calls joining Eclipse IoT a “no-brainer” decision for anyone working with open source in the IoT domain.
